JUST A FEW OF OUR HUNTS, PRETTY COOL EH?

We Are Here To Serve You

I was born and raised in the Porcupine area hunting and trapping at a very young age. There are very few people with such a vast knowledge of big game and their movement and habitat patterns. My first Saskatchewan Whitetail Hunts was in the fall of 1987 and since then have harvested many trophy bucks as big as 192 b&c.

To see the mile wide smiles of successful hunters has been most rewarding. So many have become friends and repeat guests over the past 30 years. We all know some years are better than others but my reputation has always been that I produce even in the slower years. This is due to my controlled number of hunters.

There are no guarantees in hunting but I will always guarantee the hunter Hawkrock Wilderness Adventures will have their homework done. I love my job and we all know when you love your job you become very good at it.

To keep our hunts on a personal level, we only book smaller groups with our maximum being 6 hunters per week. This allows us to keep our service at a very high quality level. You will never feel like a number during your trip. The #1 Rule at Hawkrock is quality, not quantity.  All hunters are looking for quality hunts from top notch outfitters.

As an outfitter I am also looking for quality hunters. I expect my hunters to be polite, know where their rifles are shooting and to be true sportsmen. The word hunting means exactly that. We are all working for the same goal -Success!

Let my 30 years of experience be your advantage when guiding you through the hunt.

Our guiding staff are very experienced and  personable.

Our Full American Plan – Fully Guided Whitetail Hunts are 5 days. You will arrive at the lodge Sunday and the first day begins on Monday morning until Friday evening. You have the option of staying at the lodge Friday night or departing back  to your  destination.

Please contact me for available dates for semi-guided hunts.

The season runs from the beginning  of November into December.  For exact start and end dates, please contact me at 306-278-7159.

We run 20-30 different baits to allow for maximum opportunity in fields, heavy cover, sloughs, runs on both private and crown lands.

As a farmer/rancher in the Porcupine Plain area all my life, I grow my own barley and bale my second cut alfalfa that we use at our baiting stations. This ensure the best quality of baits for all my hunts.

For your comfort in the extremely cold weather, you will enjoy our 4x4x6 insulated blinds with sliding windows complete with Little Buddy Heaters.

We also have a variety of other stands for example 16 foot ladder stands and pop up blinds. This allows you the flexibility to set up on  a monster buck.

We have you covered if you are either a Canadian or not. Whether you have been  unsuccessful on a draw tag in our area, we can supply with the tag.
All Hunters will need a HAL ID

Licences are available online any time here, through private issuers, Ministry of Environment and select provincial park offices, or by phone using a credit card at 1-855-848-4773 (8 a.m. to 9 p.m.).  Please allow 10 business days for delivery.

Night time at the Lodge!

A very unique opportunity is that from the main lodge you can view whitetails all night long. As we know, some of the ‘big boys’ stay mostly nocturnal. Every year we enjoy viewing and taking photos from the comfort of the lodge.

Also, you and your hunting partners will be able to  swap stories and share experiences in front of the fireplace or while soaking in our 8 person outdoor hot tub.
